Today’s digest featured Yahoo! as one of the “new campaigns” videos featured in the newsletter.

Personally, I am still not sold on all the new versions of its homepage Yahoo! has been going through…even this new one, with its fancy-schmancy social media integrations. Perhaps it’s still that I’m bothered by the fact that Yahoo! is more concerned with cosmetic improvements instead of returning quality search results.

And that’s not to say that a makeover can’t help you. Case in point, Bing - with their very expensive makeover-slash-rebrand, they’re telling Yahoo! to eat their dust.

By the way, Yahoo!, you’re weren’t really all that subtle in the video when you were making an example of a “boring” homepage that just wants to lead you away from that page. At least that “anonymous company you mentioned” got the search part down pat.

Gordon Ramsay Can Run Your Website
